Ever heard about how much your searching on Google, Bing, Yahoo and more can actually hurt the environment?

They always tell you to go to the librairy and look things up in books because this will lower the impact of all this online searching.

It is no secret that Google invests in creating better technology, but what exactly does Ecosia do that Google is not?

Well let me tell you that i have found out about Ecosia on Facebook in a 'green fingers' group.

Someone shared a link and here i am. Whilst Ecosia is not that widely used or known, they have achieved great deeds that improve the environment.

They get their revenue from advertisements and from your searches. They do not use it for creating technology, but investing it all back into the Earth.

They turn the wastelands to oases and while they are doing so, they're teaching the local people how to plant and care for the trees. Not only do they grow trees back, but by doing so they also create new homes for wildlife and let us all hope that their numbers will increase again.

Demons

Demons.
They come. they gaze. they feed terror to our minds.
Devouring our dreams, our hopes, our wills and eventually our souls.

Pillaging, destroying, rampaging the lands.
Raping, torturing, murdering.

The few that stood up, became first, a laughing stock.
Later known as, heroes.
Heroes that stood up from weak villages, who battled the hordes of demons.

The demons slayed by heroes will always be alive.
Their tracks, their smell, their cruel acts are engraved into mankinds memory.

Demon spawn from raped victims, spreading like a plague.
Once again, forming a horde.

The battle starts again and repeats, century after century.
Demons, the worst enemy that mankind has ever known, has risen again from dust, over and over again.
